Meeting Spiritual Needs in our Communities

The various communities around us are growing with both young families and retirees, and we have been asked about helping to meet the spiritual needs in the area. For almost 20 years, the Erickson Lutheran and Onanole United Churches worshiped together. Unfortunately OUC membership declined and the last service was held January 24, 2014. Some former United Church members worship together with us in the Erickson Lutheran Church on 30 – 3rd Street S W in Erickson. The communities of Erickson and Onanole are next-door neighbors. We often work and play together, as we do with other neighboring communities like Sandy Lake.

Are you, or someone you know, in need of a ride to church in Erickson? Let us know! Would adding an evening service in Erickson be a better fit with a busy schedule? Would you attend a once-a-month non-denominational evening service in Erickson or Onanole if it were offered?

We would very much like to hear from you! We can be reached at 204-636-2259 at the church or call Dolores Hall at 204 636-2415. Or contact us by email, or on the Erickson Lutheran Church face book page, at or our website which includes activity calendars and monthly newsletter. Our website also captures the history of the Onanole United Church.

Erickson Lutheran Church meets for weekly Sunday services. See Year at a Glance for information about special services which take place throughout the year. Our choir practices Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m
